Mrs. Gladys Worden, 95, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at her home.
She was born November 7, 1915 in LaHarpe, the daughter of Clyde and Elva McCord Tilton. On April 8, 1937 she married Harold Worden in Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1974.

She was a graduate of the LaHarpe High School. Early in life she worked at the post office and also for the Ralph Todd family. She helped with the antique show in LaHarpe and was a member of the LaHarpe Union Church.

Surviving are one son, Dennis Worden of Sprague River, Oregon, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Daymon Tilton.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the LaHarpe Union Church with Rev. Bruce Goettsche officiating. Burial will be in the Durham Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
