Reva M. Woodside

Mrs. Reva M. Woodside, 97, of Macomb, IL passed away at 8:09 AM Friday, September 19, 2014 at The Elms in Macomb. She was born on January 23, 1917 in Webster, IL the daughter of Orin and Effie Allen Hobart. On May 20, 1934 she married Lyle Pat Woodside in Roseville, IL. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1990.

Reva formerly lived in Burnside, Disco, Blandinsville and LaHarpe before moving to Macomb in 1992. She was a past member of the Disco Embroidery Club as well as the LaHarpe D.A.R.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne (Don) Painter of Lewistown, IL, and Karen (Jay) Smith of Grosse Ile, MI, 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Lewis (Dottie) Hobart of Warsaw, IL, and many nieces and nephews.

Reva was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Dean and Alvin, one daughter, Wanda Driskell, four brothers, Arthur, Willis, Lyle and Floyd Hobart, two sisters, Delta Nolan and Laveta Hobart, one great-grandson Kenneth Vance, and her foster brother, Virgil Berry.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2014 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Ron Bricker officiating. Burial will follow in the Moss Ridge Cemetery, Carthage, IL. The family will meet with friends Monday from noon until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Christian Church and the LaHarpe Lions Club.
