Mr. William W. Kobel, 54, of Pontoosuc, IL passed away at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

He was born on August 16, 1960 in Youngstown, OH the son of William E. and Rae Elain Kobel. On February 15, 2007 he married Shirley Petty in Las Vegas.

Mr. Kobel worked as a conductor for BNSF Railroad for many years. He grew up and attended school in Youngstown, OH and had lived in Pontoosuc for the last eight years. He loved sailing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley. He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services are planned. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date in the Sandusky Cemetery, Sandusky, IA. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City is in charge of arrangements. To quote Mr. Kobel Please make a donation to yourself and have some enjoyment in life. Have a good one, bye.
