Vona B. Worley, age 84 of Lomax, Illinois died at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 in
the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab Center in Stronghurst. She was born June 11, 1927 in Monette, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Molly Dodd Sipes. On December 20, 1943, she married Lawrence Worley in Costa Mesa, California. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2000.

Vona had lived in Lomax for the past forty five years. She was an inspiration to all and was truly loved by all who knew her. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends, and especially, her grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter- Carolyn (Bob) Todd of Gamaliel, Arkansas, one son Ronnie (Deb) Worley of Lomax, ten grandchildren - Wesley, Michael and Amy Lasher, Trish Bowen, Robbin, Mark and Trent Todd, Ranee Walker, Shane and Molly Worley, fourteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter- Beverly Siegfried, five brothers and two sisters.
