Virginia Kerfoot, 73, of LaHarpe, IL, passed away at 8:35 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

She was born on December 21, 1944 in Blandinsville the daughter of Loyd L. and Nancy Moore Breiner. On December 13, 1964 she married Jack Russell Coulter. He preceded her in death. On March 27, 1982 she married Howard Kerfoot. He survives.

Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking, listening to Elvis Presley and riding the Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Howard. Her main love was her grandchildren, her snowman collection and shopping, she never missed a Black Friday sale.

Survivors include her husband, Howard, four children, Sheri Coulter, Teresa (Michael VanFleet) Coulter and Casandra (Brandon) Bundy all of LaHarpe and Rodney (Erin) Kerfoot of Creve Coeur, IL, eight grandchildren, Charli and Jessica Bush, Courtney (Jacy) Ellefritz, Shea Bundy, David, Carter and Jackson VanFleet and Ashley (Sawyer) Flynn, four great-grandchildren, Jensen, Bryleigh and Paizlee Ellefritz and Haddix Flynn, ten sisters, Dorothy Plank, Pauline Jones, Joy Byers and Wyvonne (Ike) Byers all of LaHarpe, Charlene Wilson, Lucille (Edward) Luton and Deanna Truelove all of Blandinsville, Patricia (Lewis) Huston of New Boston, IL, Marilyn (Pat) Cahill of Burlington, IA, Jo (Don) Frye of Muscatine, IA . She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, one brother, Lloyd "Gene" Breiner and two sisters, Louise Thompson and Thelma Figg.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating. A celebration of life will follow at the Annex in LaHarpe.  A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
