Verona "Bonnie" Cassiday, 79, of Lomax, IL passed away at 8:43 AM Friday, July 27, 2018 at her home.

She was born October 6, 1938 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Christopher John and Hazel Adams Arch. On July 3, 1971 she married Jimmy C. Cassiday in Lomax. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2011.

Bonnie enjoyed being around and teasing children. She liked cooking, working in her flower garden and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Connie Neff of Mt Pleasant, IA, Tammi Smith of Lomax and Jamie Sue Cassiday of Lomax, 2 sons, Joe Cassiday of Carman, IL and Jimmy Cassiday II of Lomax, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, Michael Cassiday, 1 daughter, Roberta Cassiday, 1 great-grandson, Harvey Walker, 2 brothers and 2 sisters .
