Vada Leone Carlson

, 93 of Chandler, Arizona, formerly of Stronghurst, Illinois died at 1:22 a.m. Saturday January 26, 2013 in Arizona. She was born September 18, 1919 in Knox County, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn and Ruby Bowen Young. On September 9,1967, she married Charles L. Carlson. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2008.

Mrs. Carlson had lived in Stronghurst for many years, moving to Arizona in 2005.
Survivors include one daughter Becky (Koert) Smith of Sun Lakes, Arizona, one son - James (Diana) Denly of Erie, Colorado, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two sisters- Lois Johnson of Galesburg, IL., and Marilyn Ross of Fox Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
