T. Todd Irish, 66, of LaHarpe, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois.

Todd was born on April 19, 1955 in LaHarpe the son of T. Ted and Diana (Todd) Irish. On July 6, 1980 he married Cindy Clover in Blandinsville, Illinois.

Mr. Irish was a 1973 graduate of LaHarpe High School. Following high school he began working at the family business, the LaHarpe Telephone Company, where he was currently serving as President of the company. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Rural Broadband Association.

He was a member of the LaHarpe Union Church, serving on many boards over the years. He also served as a LaHarpe Alderman for 22 years. He enjoyed walking, was an avid animal lover and was especially proud of his Dodge Hellcat. He loved traveling and being able to spend time making memories with his family.

Survivors include his wife: Cindy; two daughters: Jenny (Jason) DeVito-Floyd of Bloomington, Illinois and Lisa (her fiancé Ryan Porter) Irish of LaHarpe; one step-grandson: Landon Porter; one sister: Gina Irish of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother: Mark (Patty) Irish of LaHarpe and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lisa Irish.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Union Church in LaHarpe with Rev. Bruce Goettsche officiating. Burial will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery.

While no formal visitation will be held, friends may pay their respects from 1:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6th at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe Union Church or LaHarpe Ambulance.
