Mr. Terry D. Riddell, 72, of Lomax, IL died Friday August 10, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Rock Island, IL on July 31, 1946, the son of LaVerne W. and Lena Mae Riddell.

Mr. Riddell served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for herorism in battle. He worked as a nurse at various locations, most recently at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst.

Survivors include 2 children, Casey (Brandi) Riddell and Terri Jo Bennett and 2 step-children, Maryann (David) Epping and Rusty (Monica) Dorsey and 6 grandchildren, Alexis, Calla and Skylar Bennett and Ty, Tanner and Trey Riddell.

He was preceded in death by his companion of many years, Kathleen Bousman, his brother, Randy and his parents.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Aledo Cemetery, Aledo, IL. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe is assisting with arrangements.
