Mr. Terry Q. Newberry, 73, of Rio Vista, IL passed away at 5:46 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Fort Madison Community Hospital, Fort Madison, IA.

Terry was born on October 10, 1943 in Delaware, the son of Quentin and Marie Wolf Newberry. On September 17, 1996 he married Rebecca Mae Meier in Fort Madison.
He was a graduate of the former Dallas City High School. Terry worked as a Boilermaker for 40 years and was a member of the Local 83, Kansas City.

Terry is survived by his wife: Rebecca; seven children: Tamara Taylor of Fort Madison, Kelly Raschendorfer of West Burlington, IA, Lisa Hayes of Wapello, IA, Sandi Newberry of Burlington, IA, Terry Newberry of Cape Girardeau, MO, Sherri Peterson of Burlington, Marc Althar of Dallas City; several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Steven and Jon Newberry.

No visitation will be held. A graveside service will be held in the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2016 with Rev. Lee Unger officiating. A memorial fund has been established for PAWS of Fort Madison.
