Teresa Ann Thompson, 65, of Lomax, IL passed away at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Prairie City Rehab and Health Care Center in Prairie City, IL.

Sh was born May 2, 1956 in Tarrant County, TX, the daughter of Ace James and Betty Mae Coleman Brown. On May 1, 1987 she married Kevin Thompson in Lawton, OK.

Teresa cleaned homes while living in Mesa, AZ. She later became a CNA and worked at the former LaHarpe Davier Health Care Center in LaHarpe. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, following sports, especially the NFL and her cat, J.J.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin, one daughter, Sue Ann Huckaby of Macomb, IL, one step-daughter, Tammy Davis of Tyler, TX, one step-son, Terry Thompson of Virginia, 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to Banks & Beals Funeral Home. A celebration of Teresa's life will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for the American Diabetes Association.
