Mr. Ted R. McSparen, 68, of Lomax, Il died Friday, November 16, 2018 at 9:39 PM at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.
He was born March 4, 1950 in LaHarpe, IL, the son of Joseph and Norma Pence McSparen.

Ted was a 1968 graduate of the Dallas City High School. He then served in the Air Force from 1969 - 1973 and the National Guard for 14 years. He had worked for the railroad and for Armour-Dial. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his mother of Lomax and 2 brothers, Gary L. (Linetta) McSparen of Lomax and Tracy Dale (Doris) McSparen of Wayland, MO. He was preceded in death by his father.
