Mrs. Darline Stout, 93, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Monday, December, 31, 2007 at 1:20 A.M. at the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab Center in Stronghurst, Illinois.

She was born October 24, 1914 in McDonough County, Illinois, the daughter of Elzie and Ruby Cotton Morrison. On October 13, 1934 she married Lester Stout in Galesburg, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1978.

Darline was raised in Blandinsville and graduated from Blandinsville High School. She and her husband farmed near LaHarpe for many years. She also worked at the LaHarpe Locker Plant and the Fair Store in LaHarpe. She was a member of the LaHarpe Senior Citizens and played in their Kitchen Band.

Survivors include; Greg and Claudia Webster of Lomax, Millie Klossing of Galesburg, Illinois, Joannie White, Lola Barkow and Bob and Bobbie Goforth all of Memphis, Tennessee.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her 2 daughters, Shirley Mohr and Luanne Stout.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Darren Beachy officiating. Friends may call at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe on Wednesday from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. A memorial fund has been established for the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab Center or the LaHarpe Senior Citizens.
