Christina L. Stevens

Christina L. Stevens, 47, of Dallas City, IL passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

She was born April 19, 1969 in Fort Madison, IA. On September 20, 2014 she married Kerry Stevens in Dallas City.

Chris was a 1987 graduate of the Nauvoo-Colusa High School and received an Associate Degree from Robert Morris College in Carthage, IL. She had worked at Riverview Supper Club, Country Pastimes, Vorhies Insurance and was currently the District Secretary for the Dallas City School District. She enjoyed hunting with her husband. She was an active member of the Riverview Sportsmen Club where she served as Secretary. Earlier in life she coached T-ball.

Surviving are her husband, Kerry, one son, Nathan Northup, one daughter, Neely Northup, both of Dallas City, her parents, Billy and Barbara Fowler of Dallas City, her grandmother, Rosanna Bartlett of Fort Madison, IA and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 3:00PM Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City where the family will meet with friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 16 at the funeral home with Deacon Tony Herdrich officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established for the Riverview Sportsmen.
