Lyndel A. Stansbery

Mr. Lyndel A. Stansbery age 70, of Pontoosuc, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 2:15 A.M. at his home.

He was born December 29, 1936 in Mendon, Illinois, the son of Everett and June (Andrew) Stansbery

He was raised near Mendon, Illinois and lived most of his life in the Dallas City area.

He is survived by a special friend, Susie Timmerman of Pontoosuc, 1 son, Orville W. Worley of Curryville, Missouri, 2 daughters, Alice Vantiger of Pontoosuc and Sonja Strange of Blandinsville, Illinois, 1 sister, Sharon (Richard) McDonald of Kirkwood, Illinois, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Pat and his parents.

The family will meet with friends at the Pontoosuc Community Center on Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 1:00 until 5:00 PM. There will be no services.
