Jennie B. Spiker

Mrs. Jennie Belle (Powell) Spiker, 90, of the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 8:00 P.M. at Oak Lane.

She was born March 4, 1917 in Millston, Wisconsin. In 1936 she married Edward Spiker in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1947.

Mrs. Spiker was raised in Wisconsin and lived in LaHarpe and Lomax, Illinois before entering Oak Lane.

She is survived by 3 sons, Robert, Karl and Richard Spiker and one daughter, Alice. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son and daughter.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Pastor Louis Day officiating. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe is in charge of arrangements.
