Sonja Marie Gebhardt, 48, of Gladstone, Illinois passed away at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.

Sonja was born on March 30, 1971 in Stuttgart, Germany the daughter of Ed and Barbara Peters Koenig. On December 4, 1995 she married Tony Gebhardt in Fond du Lac, Winsonsin.

Mrs. Gebhardt worked at H & R Block in Macomb, Illinois, for the previous ten years. She enjoyed cooking, boating and fishing with her husband, Tony. Family was the most important thing in her life. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Tony; one daughter, Tiffany (Jared) Byers of Little York; two sons, Sean Gebhardt and Justin Gosse both of Burlington, IA; three grandchildren, Dillon Gosse, Lukas Byers and Josilyn Byers; her mother, Barbara Williamson of Ohio and three brothers, Chad Koenig, Beau Risley and Bryan Bats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ed.

Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9 at Banks & Beals in LaHarpe with Pastor Andy Dressler officiating.
