Sandra K. Wysong, 69, of Lomax, IL died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the scene of a one vehicle accident near Dallas City, IL.

She was born June 24, 1942 in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of Herbert and Magdalene Henderson Smith Sr. On March 9, 1990 she married Buddy Wysong in Blakesburg, IA. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1998.

Sandra was a complete free spirit, she loved her children, family, friends, animals and her God. She had lived in Lomax for the past 15 years.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Tina (Rick) Kienlen of Burlington, IA, Hope Schaefer of Lomax and Tonya (Jesse) Garnsey of New London, IA, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 2 brothers, Dennis and Herbert Smith both of Lomax, a special niece, Julie Smith of Rantoul, IL and her special aunt and uncle, Pat and Ron VanNiewaaal of Lomax.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, Rory K. James, and her parents.
Following cremation, a private family graveside service will be held at the Crane Cemetery near Lomax. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Lomax Church of the Nazarene. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe is assisting with arrangements.
