Sandra Olson's Obituary
Sandra (Good) Olson, 70, of Lomax, IL, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at the home of her friend and companion, Robert Dowell of rural Niota, IL.
She was born April 14, 1948 in Carman, IL, the daughter of John D. and Ida Bell Ash Good. On September 23, 1967 she married Ronnie L. Olson. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1990.
Sandy was a 1966 graduate of the Warsaw High School. Throughout her life she worked at Thermos Company in Macomb, Methode in Carthage and the Henderson County Home Health Care. Sandy enjoyed attending horse shows, dancing, karaoke and gardening. She would help anyone in need.
Survivors include two children, Michelle (Carlos) Ruiz of Lomax, IL, Krista Lynn (Curtis) Johnson of Lake Charles, LA, her companion, Robert Dowell of Niota, two grandchildren, Sebastion Carey and Raven Adams and four great-grandchildren, Olajuwon Rooney, Noah Adams, Leonardo Adams and Xander Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Kay, and one brother, David.
A private family memorial service will be at the Grace Bible Church in Dallas City. A memorial fund has been for the Shriners Hospital for Children.
