Mrs. Rose Mary Roberts, 82, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:37 A.M. at the OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

She was born on June 17, 1928 in Burnside, Illinois, the daughter of Keith and Elma Mae Furrow Markey. She married Richard Roberts in 1977.
She was born and raised in Burnside where she graduated from high school. Earlier in life she worked as a nurses aid. She had lived in LaHarpe since 1977.

She is survived by her husband, 3 daughters, Shirley Parsano, Sharon Rayburn and Ruth McConnell all of LaHarpe, 1 step-daughter, Margie Hillgardner of Blue Grass, Iowa, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Maryann Swain of Fountain Green, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, 1 great-grandson and one brother.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 8, 2010 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Darren Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the LaHarpe Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday. A memorial fund has been established.
