Roger Lee Day, 48, of Keokuk, IA, formerly of LaHarpe, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA

He was born July 14, 1968 in Macomb, IL, the son of James and Marlene Mittermyer Day. He first married Annette Lair. They later divorced.

Roger attended LaHarpe schools and 2 years of college. He was a truck driver for almost 20 years.

He is survived by his fiance, Bobbi Jo Hommer, 1 son, Bradley Day, 1 daughter, Shelby Lynn Day and 1 grandson Elijah Sinclaire Day all of LaHarpe and 1 sister, Nicole Bohanan of Canton, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Ramona Day and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. A memorial fund has been established to help with expenses. Condolences may be left a banksandbeals.com
