Rodney Joseph Harr, age 64 of Burlington, Iowa, passed away Thursday November 29, 2018 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. He was born April 16, 1954 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the son of Roger and Marlene Siegfried Harr.

Mr. Harr was a graduate of Stronghurst High School. He was employed for the past 30 years at Modern Welding in Burlington. Prior to that he had worked for Charlie Beard Painting Services in Stronghurst for several years.

Survivors include one daughterm Kayla Harr of Grundy Center, IA, one son, Benjamin Harr of West Burlington, IA, his mother, Marlene Harr of Stronghurst, three grandchildren, Lilly Grace Furniss, Lucy Joy Corvaia, Elliott Blaine Corvaia, two sisters, Sandra Leibli of Burlington, IA, Linda Detrick of Gladstone, IL, and two half-brothers, Terry Smith of Palestine, Texas and Jerry Smith of Stronghurst, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst.
