Mr. Rocky F. Schenck, 56, of LaHarpe, IL passed away at 8:45 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

He was born August 12, 1960 in LaHarpe, the son of Russell and Vera Todd Schenck.

He was a 1979 graduate of LaHarpe High School. He worked as a farm hand for Max Burg and Roger Crum.

Rocky is survived by 3 brothers, Paul (Joanna) Schenck and David Schenck all of Disco, Il and Tod (Marlene) Schenck of Elkton, MD.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Schenck and Vera Schenck Bozarth, 1 brother, Chris Schenck and his grandparents.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2017 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. A graveside services will be held at Crane Cemetery near Lomax at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
