Robin Rene Watson, 52 of rural Media, Illinois died at 6:00 p.m. Friday September 5, 2014 at her home. She was born September 6, 1961 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of John and Beverley Knox Livermore. On October 29, 1983, she married Douglas Scott Watson in Raritan.

Robin lived most of her life in the Raritan area. She was a 1979 graduate of Southern High School in Stronghurst. She was employed as an Administrative Secretary for Western Illinois Special Education Cooperative in Macomb. She loved all animals, especially her dogs and horses. She enjoyed antiques, and was always interested in helping other people. She was a member of the Raritan Reformed Church.

Survivors include her husband, her parents of rural Media, IL, one brother, John (Missy) Livermore of rural Media, two sisters, her twin Roxanne (Charles) Corzatt of rural Stronghurst, Rhonda (Jay) Blender of Raritan, two nephews, Brent Blender and John John Livermore, and five nieces, Channon (Jon) Rider, Crystal (Justin) Rider, Brandy Blender, Johnna Livermore and Jennifer Livermore. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

The funeral service for Robin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Stronghurst, with Greg McClintock officiating. Burial will be in the Raritan cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Humane Society.
