Ricky G. Walters, 59, of Galesburg, IL, formerly of Dallas City, IL passed away at 5:41 PM Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Cottage Hospital in Galesburg.

Ricky was born on April 21, 1957 in LaHarpe, IL, the son of George S. and Barbara J. Howe Walters.

Mr. Walters was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and also loved watching WWE wrestling. He enjoyed listenting to country music and watching the TV series Bonanza. Ricky liked coloring pictures. He was a friend to all and always made people smile.

Ricky is survived by a brother, George (Marlene) Walters of Dallas City, and one sister JoAnn (Dan) Flaherty of Niota, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister Dorothy June Walters.

Services for Ricky will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City with Rev. Doug Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City. A visitation will take place from 1:00 PM Saturday until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for the Lomax Ambulance Service.
