Mr. Paul D. Reiter, 91, of LaHarpe, IL formerly of rural Blandinsville, IL passed away at 5:00 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the LaHarpe-Davier Health Care Center.

He was born July 21, 1924 in Blandinsville, the son of Frank Paul and Ethel Blanche Alton Reiter.

Paul was born on the family farm and lived there until moving to LaHarpe in 2011 for health reasons. He farmed all of his life and sold eggs and produce in the surrounding communities for decades. He enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
Surviving are one daughter, Betty Durnil of Kent, WA and one granddaughter, Christina Durnil of Redmond, WA. He was preceded in death by one son, John D. Reiter.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating. Burial will be in the LaHarpe Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe-Davier Health Care Center.
