Paulette Joan Hedges, 70, of Rio Vista, Illinois, passed away
Friday afternoon
, June 17, 2022 at her home.
Paulette was born October 13, 1951 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of James A. and Pauline M. (Welborn) Hedges.
Paulette was a graduate of Highland Springs High School, Highland Springs, Virginia. She worked various jobs throughout her life. She was a member of the Pontoosuc Community Church. She loved her cats and dogs and especially loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include one son: Michael (Trish) Hedges of Niota, Illinois, two granddaughters: Halee Lucas and Hanna Hedges, three bonus grandchildren; two great-granddaughters: Azalea and Ellee, seven bonus great-grandchildren and two brothers: Robert Hedges of Niota and Stanley Hedges of Pontoosuc.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson: Clayton James Hedges.
A graveside service will be held
at 10:00 AM Friday, June 24, 2022
at Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City, with Pastor Joe Stewart officiating. A memorial fund has been established for her great-grandchildren.
