Paul Harvey Ingles, 63, of LaHarpe, Illinois, passed away at 10:52 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home.

Paul was born October 7, 1959 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the son of Clarence R. and Helen L. (Cratsenberg) Ingles.

Survivors include three siblings: Donald (Peg) Ingles of Lomax, Melody Hensley of LaHarpe and Randy (Joyce) Ingles of Harvey, Louisiana; one sister-in-law: Cindy Ingles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Gary Ingles and one brother-in-law: Roger Hensley.

Paul attended several area special education schools and worked at the Mental Health Centers of Western Illinois for many years. He enjoyed being a member of the LaHarpe community all of his life, for the past year he resided at the Carthage Terrace, where he made many friends. He also enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and listening to music, especially Kenny Rogers. He was a lifelong member of the LaHarpe Christian Church.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe.

Funeral services for Paul will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2023 at the LaHarpe Christian Church with Pastor Nate McCarter officiating. Burial will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery.
