Pamela S. (Spiker) Houghton

Pamela S. (Spiker) Houghton, 62, of Lomax, IL passed away at 11:10 AM Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.

She was born April 10, 1952 in LaHarpe, IL, the daughter of John and Amy Lorine Robinson Spiker. She married Gary Houghton. He preceded her in death.

Pamela was a cook at various restaurants. She enjoyed scrap booking, crafts, gardening, yard sales and horses. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Bindy (John) Zimmerman of Martinsburg, PA, Becky Heath of Keithsburg, IL and Johnna Snyder of Kirksville, MO, 5 grandchildren, Haylei Zimmerman, Clinton Zimmerman, Tanner Heath, Victoria Heath and Landen Snyder, 2 sisters, Kathy Keith of Lomax and Lori Buffy Spiker of Unionville, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM. A private interment will be in the Carman Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
