Mikhaila Renea Palmer, 12, of rural Blandinsville, IL passed away at 5:00PM Monday, February 25, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Mikhaila was born August 8, 2000 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Ned and Dottie Willdrick Palmer.

She was a 6th grade student at the LaHarpe Elementary, where she played basketball, volleyball and ran track. She loved to watch her brother play football. She enjoyed animals, especially horses, puppies and kitties. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Mikhaila is survived by her parents, 2 brothers, Tyler Willdrick and Garet Palmer both at home, grandparents, Michael and Virginia Palmer of LaHarpe, IL and Gene and Bonnie Willdrick of Dallas City, IL, great-grandparents Rex and Barbara Stewart of LaHarpe, IL and Dorothy Snyder of Burnside, IL.

Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the LaHarpe Elementary Gym with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating. The family requests that those attending the service dress casually. Burial will be in the McConnell Cemetery near Fountain Green,IL. Friends may call from 3:00 until 9:00PM Friday, at the LaHarpe Christian Church where family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00PM. A memorial fund has been established.
