Nicholas D. Babcock, 28, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away Friday April 13, 2018 in a traffic accident near Carman, Illinois. He was born June 15, 1989 in Rancho Cordova, CA, the son of Donna Babcock.

Nicholas was a graduate of Rio Linda High School in Rio Linda, CA. He lived most of his life in the Sacramento, CA area, moving to Stronghurst in 2014. He was currently employed at American Ordinance in Middletown, and had also worked for the Winegard Company for three years.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Donna and Dominic Del Carlo of Stronghurst, four brothers, Giovanni, Andrew, Joseph and Christian Del Carlo, all of Stronghurst, grandparents, Don and Sharon Babcock of Stronghurst, and Gerald and Sarah Del Carlo of Sacramento, five aunts, Valerie Babcock, Shelly Dawson, Lisa Babcock, Krystal Del Carlo, and Danielle Del Carlo. Also surviving are several cousins.
