Michael Keith Myers, 67, of Monmouth, Illinois formerly of LaHarpe, Illinois, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Monmouth Nursing Home.

Mike was born on May 14, 1952 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Glenn Keith and Edith Cook Myers. He married Kathy Myers. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Myers proudly served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed visiting and joking around with everyone.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Myers Jr., Joshua Myers and Christopher Myers of Kansas City, Missouri and five grandchildren. Also surviving are four sister, Phyllis Bitar of Monmouth, Janice Smith of Dallas City, Illinois, Glenna Grove of Macomb and Peggy McClain of Florida and one brother, Ronnie Myers of Dallas City.

Mike was preceded in death his parents; three brothers, Jack, Larry and Gerald Wayne Myers and one sister, Pamela Lea Myers.

A private graveside service with Military Rites will be held in the LaHarpe Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society and can be mailed to the family at: Banks & Beals Funeral Home, P.O. Box 503, LaHarpe, Illinois 61450.
