Obituary

Mrs. May Viola Trout, 90, of the Montebello Healthcare Center in Hamilton, Illinois passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 10:10 P.M. at the Healthcare Center.

She was born June 3, 1917 in Wayland, Missouri the daughter of Charles Clifford and Anna May Toops Parsons. On August 17, 1935 she married Lester Caulkins. He passed away December 5, 1950. She married James Allen Trout on December 27, 1961 in Waukegan, Illinois. He passed away January 30, 1983.

Mrs. Trout was a former resident of Galesburg, Knoxville and Avon, Illinois. She was a resident of the Montebello Healthcare Center since 1994. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hamilton.

She is survived by 2 step-sons, Roger J. (Carolyn) Trout of LaHarpe, Illinois and John A. (Judy) Trout of Argyle, Wisconsin, 3 grandchildren, Sherry Calmer, Brenda Caulkins and Joe Caulkins, 3 step-grandchildren, RD Trout, Randy Trout and Joel Trout, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Etta Lefler of Warsaw, Illinois and Ona Neal of Keokuk, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, 1 son, James Caulkins, 1 step-son Mike Trout, 3 brothers, Russ, Ira and Robert Parsons and 2 sisters, Annabelle Dunlap and Virginia Martin.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 15 , 2008 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Rev. Tom Wright officiating. The family will meet with friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. A memorial fund has been established for the Blessing Hospice of Hancock County.
