Mary Ann Strausbaugh, 66, of LaHarpe, IL passed away at 6:01 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Care, Roseville, IL where she had resided the past 3 years.

She was born on February 2, 1950 in LaHarpe, the daughter of Carl W. and Mildred Sell Strausbaugh.

Mary Ann was a graduate of the Carthage High School. She was a lifelong resident of LaHarpe. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and crafts.

Mary Ann is survived by two nephews, Kevin Strausbaugh of Burlington, IA, Bill Strausbaugh, one niece, Heather Cassidy of Alaska, several great and great-great nieces and nephews, one aunt, Mary Armstrong of Chillicothe, IL and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Linda Strausbaugh, three brothers R.A., Gary, Carl Strausbaugh Jr., and her significant other, Odie Downs.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 in the LaHarpe Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Goettsche officiating. Prior to the service family and friends are welcome to gather at the Union Church in LaHarpe at 1:00 PM for coffee and snacks. A memorial fund has been established for the Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Care.
