Marvin T. Ford, age 73, a resident of McHenry, Illinois for 47 years, passed away on June 12, 2020 at home. He was born March 27, 1947 in Burlington, Iowa, the youngest son of Earl L. Sr. and Dorothy (Stevenson) Ford of Carman, Illinois.

Marvin was the beloved husband of Sandra (Nee Staley) for 53 years; loving father of Brian (Chrissy) of McHenry, Illinois, and Julie of Galesburg, Illinois; cherished grandfather of Natalie; dear brother of Nancy (Wilbur) Pfeiff; and proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Earl Jr, Robert, Paul, Rodney, and sister; Mary Anne Wilson.

Marvin graduated from Stronghurst High School in 1965. He was a loving family man, with granddaughter Natalie being the light of his life. He was a devoted member of Life Bridge Community Church in Wauconda, Illinois. He retired from Harris Bank in Chicago after 39 years of dedicated service, then worked for Target Corporation in Mundelein, Illinois for 8 years. He was an avid collector of scale model farm toys.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 26, 2021 in the Carman Cemetery, Carman, Illinois. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is assisting with local arrangements.
