Mark Dennis Duncan

Mark Dennis Duncan, 61 of New London, Iowa, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday May 14, 2014 in the New London Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born March 2, 1953 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Robert and Doris Hicks Duncan.

Mr. Duncan was a heavy equipment operator at Burlington River Terminal for many years.

Survivors include his mother- Doris Duncan of Stronghurst, IL, one sister, Sherry (Dennis) Warrington of Navarre, FL, one brother, Mike (Dianna) Duncan of Media, IL, two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

No visitation is planned. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday May 19, 2014 in the Stronghurst Cemetery with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Great River Hospice of West Burlington, IA. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is in charge of arrangements.
