Mr. Marion Warren Lewis, 89, of Round Lake, IL, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

He was born in Avon, IL the son of William and Cecil Lewis.

He was married to Mildred Shipman, she survives.

Mr. Lewis was a veteran of the United State Air Force. He was a retired high school and college teacher.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Michael Lewis and Marshall (Amy) Lewis, two daughters, Melanie (Jeff) Simonsen and Michelle (Art) Kempf, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. Burial with Military Rites will be held at Webster Cemetery, rural Carthage, IL. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
