Lynette Elaine Armstrong

Lynette Elaine Armstrong, age 62 of Oswego, Illinois, formerly of Stronghurst, Illinois, died at 3:05 a.m. Friday February 8, 2013 in the West Chicago Terrace in West Chicago, IL. She was born April 23, 1950 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Leman and Bertha Robbins Armstrong.

Lynette had worked as a customer service representative for Emery Air Freight at OHare International Airport in Chicago for several years, and also for AT&T in Arizona. She was a member of the Stronghurst United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sisters- Patricia Jones of Oswego, IL., Sharon (Del) Geist of Colorado, and one brother- Jere Armstrong of Coralville, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother- Richard Armstrong, one nephew- Frank Bradley Wood, and one brother in law- Robert Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 16, 2013 at the Wheatland Presbyterian Church, 11839 Heggs Road, Plainfield, Illinois. Burial will be in the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Colchester, Illinois at a later date. Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst, Illinois is assisting the family.
