Dennis R. Link

Mr. Dennis R. Link, 65, of LaHarpe, IL passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:15 PM at the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst, IL.

He was born October 1, 1947 in LaHarpe, the son of Donald Soupand Betty Hobby Link.
Dennis attended LaHarpe Schools and Gem City College and worked as a Jeweler. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed time with his dog, Odie, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Link of the Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst, two brothers, Dale (Jennifer) Link of Hubbard, OR and Darrell (Janice Neff) Link of Stronghurst, two sisters, Eva (Terry) Anders of Abilene, TX and Ella Joy (Scott) Hirte of Lomax, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two nephews, Dalton Hirte and Nathan Cokel.

Services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Marvin Miller and Larry Hobby officiating. Burial will be held at the LaHarpe Cemetery. There is no formal family visitation planned but friends may call anytime Monday between 3:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for the Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab.
