LARRY L. BUTCH GRANNEMAN

Mr. Larry L. Butch Granneman, 56, of Dallas City, IL passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at 8:45 AM at the Fort Madison Community Hospital.
He was born December 11, 1955 in Ottumwa, IA, the son of Charles E. and Virginia Mae Cloyd Granneman.
Butch was a graduate of the former Union High School in Biggsville, Il. He was the Appanoose Twp. Road Commissioner, worked for Crop Production Services, F.S. and Lowes. He was a volunteer fireman with the Niota Fire Dept. where he had served as Fire Chief. He enjoyed drawing and reading.
He is survived by one son, Jake Granneman of Billings, Montana, one grandson, Ben Granneman, one sister Therese Seigfried of Niota, IL, one uncle, several aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Granneman.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2012 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City with Tony Newton officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Carman Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to help with expenses.
