Kollin Edward Lionberger, 9, of rural Dallas City, IL passed away at 2:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital, Carthage, IL.

He was born on June 17, 2005 in West Burlington, IA the son of Ed and Debbie Bolton Lionberger.

Kollin was a fourth grade student at Dallas City Elementary School. He enjoyed music, doing experiments, playing T-ball as a youngster and playing basketball against his brothers and sister. He also enjoyed Elf on the shelf and decorating for holidays. Kollin was looking forward to the school's winter program.

Survivors include, his parents, Ed and Debbie Lionberger of rural Dallas City, one sister, Kaylyn Lionberger, two brothers, Kevin and Kristian Lionberger, all at home, one grandfather, Wayne Bolton of rural Carthage, one great-grandmother, Doris Hoing of Hamilton, IL, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.

Services will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Dallas City Elementary School Gym with Pastor Clark Irwin officiating. Burial will be held in the Harris Cemetery near Dallas City. The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00p.m. Friday at the gym. A memorial fund has been established. Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City is in charge of arrangements.
