Mary A. Klinedinst

Mary A. Klinedinst, 71, of LaHarpe, Illinois passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at 4:43 P.M. at the Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb, Illinois.

She was born January 25, 1939 in Fountain Green, Illinois, the daughter of Newt and Leota Londrie McClanahan. On June 2, 1954 she married Max Klinedinst in Lewistown, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1996.

Earlier in life, Mary owned and operated Marys Caf in Colchester and later worked at many restaurants in the area including the Main Caf in Blandinsville, the Tastee Freeze in LaHarpe and Jack and Jills Deli. She also worked as Activity Assistant at the LaHarpe-Davier Heath Care Center. She attended the Webster, Illinois Community Church and wrote the church news for the Quill.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Klinedinst of LaHarpe. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, Dick and James McClanahan and 1 sister, Dorothy Stine.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Robert Tillman officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for the PAWS or the Webster Community Church. Banks & Beals Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
