Kevin A. Vaughn, age 54, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at his home. He was born August 25, 1967 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of George and Bonnie McGraw Vaughn. He was married to Tammy Good. They later divorced.

Kevin was a graduate of Southern High School in Stronghurst. He was employed at Crop Production Service for six years. He also was a truck driver for several years, and worked as a mechanic in Oquawka, Illinois. He enjoyed camping and, especially, spending time with his family.

Survivors include his father and step mother: George and Anna Vaughn of Wapello, IA, five stepchildren: Tiffany (Andrew) Davis of Burlington, IA, David McIntyre and Dena McIntyre, both of Lomax, IL, Jordyn Christofferson, and Derek Christofferson, both of Oquawka, IL, four step grandchildren, Kyla and Novalynn McIntyre, and Michael and Madilynn Fye, six sisters: Kathy Thomason, Melinda (Bill) Hoover, and Wendi Noble, all of Stronghurst, Ramona (Lee) Hainey of Wapello, IA, Jackie (Greg) Cover of Conesville, IA, and Catricia (Jeff) Sinn of Wayland, IA, and one brother: Mark (Cindy) Wehrle of Wapello, IA. He was preceded in death by his mother, one step grandson: Ryan Davis, one brother:Terry Thomason, two nephews: Josh Good and Jeremy Hoover, and one niece: Kimberly Huppenbauer.
