Kenneth William Zimdars, age 92, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday June 19, 2019 at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst. He was born July 11, 1926 in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Lillian Deno Zimdars. On May 25, 1957, he married Carol Woolridge in Hartland, Wisconsin.

Mr. Zimdars farmed in Wisconsin most of his life. He was a 1944 graduate of Waukesha High School. He was a seed corn dealer for Jungs Seed Corn for many years, and also was a 4-H leader for many years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Susan (Fred) Kruczinski of Des Plaines, IL, Barbara (Steven) Polishinski of Sun Prairie, WI, Janet (Patrick) Peterson of Stronghurst, IL, one son, Glenn (Dodie) Zimdars of Burlington, WI, ten grandchildren, James Kruczinski, Laura Kruczinski, Holly (Matthew) Gerhardt, Heather Zimdars, Allanira (Matthew) Schulz, Robert Zimdars, Kurtis Polishinski, Kyle Polishinski, Matthew (Julie) Peterson, Kristen (Chad) Kaup, fourteen great grandchildren, and one brother, Gordon Zimdars of Ixonia, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Alice Lorier and Dorothy Fickau.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 26, 2019 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hartland, WI, followed by a graveside service at 3:15 p.m. in Hartland Village Cemetery.
