Keith E. Thomas, 94, of Plymouth, Illinois, formerly of Camden, Illinois, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his home.

Keith was born on November 25, 1926 near Adrian, Illinois, the son of Hubert and Goldie (Siegfried) Thomas. On May 5, 1946 he married Thelma I. Peck in Dallas City, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2001.

Keith farmed for most of his life. He also worked in construction and was a logger for many years. He was an avid coon hunter and enjoyed attending truck and tractor pulls. He especially enjoyed his dogs and his grandchildren.

Keith is survived by five children: Lois Browning of Burlington, Iowa, Dale Thomas of Lomax, Illinois, Rita Akers of Littleton, Illinois, Alan "Buzz" (Julie) Thomas of Littleton and Dean (Cheryl) Thomas of Plymouth; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother: Loren "Pete" Thomas of Carthage and Keith's faithful dog, Pepper.

Keith was preceded in death by his wife; one daughter: Judy Wiseman; two sons-in-law: Neil Wiseman and Eldon Akers; one daughter-in-law: Rachel Thomas; two sisters: Thelma Ballinger and JoAnn Johnson and four brothers: Lloyd, Wayne, Vernon and Byard Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the LaHarpe Cemetery with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating.

There will be no formal visitation, but friends may pay their respects from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 28th at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe.
