Joyce E. Hicks, age 85, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away Wednesday December 2, 2020 at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst. She was born April 4, 1935 in London Mills, Illinois, the daughter of Andrew and Nelda Ulm Norris. On March 23, 1986, she married Gary Lee Hicks in Burlington, Iowa.

Joyce was employed for twenty five years at Antennacraft Corporation in West Burlington, IA. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, four children, Debbie (Mark) Lumbeck of Oquawka, IL, Marty (Joni) Lant of Northfield, MN, Marcia (Mark) Seitz of Lake Havisu, AZ, Greg Hicks of Houston, TX, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gene Norris.
