Joan Stamp, age 86, of Stronghurst, Illinois passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst. She was born July 27, 1933 in Wyaconda, Missouri, the daughter of Gilbert and Lucille Alexander Hustead. On March 5, 1953, she married Ronald Eugene Stamp in Stronghurst. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2018.

Joan was a 1951 graduate of Stronghurst High School, and lived most of her adult life in Stronghurst. She was employed at the ASCS office in Stronghurst for over thirty years.

She loved playing dominoes, especially with her grandchildren. Over the years, she and her husband enjoyed traveling all over the United States with their best friends, Bob and Dolly Ford. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Stronghurst Christian Church.

Survivors include one son, Zack (Diane) Stamp of Naples, FL, two daughters, LuAnn (John) Sullivan of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Joni (Ed) Keane of Wesley Chapel, FL, seven grandchildren, Nicole Keane Doll, Doug Keane, Megan Sullivan Brand, Molly Sullivan Hackman, Heath Keane, Perry Stamp, Nathan Stamp, one great granddaughter, nine great grandsons, four sisters, Darlene (Ralph) Tatge, Betty (Bob) Smith, and Judy (Howard) Duncan, all of Stronghurst, Joyce (Jerry) McCarthy of O'Fallon, IL, one sister in law, Vivian Rankin of Athens, IL, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, Charles "Cy" Hustead and one sister, Isabel Livermore.

Due to the Corona Virus restrictions, there will be no visitation. Private family graveside services will be Monday April 27, 2020 in the Stronghurst Cemetery, with Steve Minkler officiating.
