Jesse L. Jones, 43, of Guthrie, Kentucky, formerly of LaHarpe, Illinois, passed away at 11:36 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He was born October 15, 1981 in Macomb, Illinois, the son of Robert Lynn and Jeannette Carle Jones. Jesse was a graduate of LaHarpe High School and attended Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. He loved to play Pitch, go fishing and attend races. Jesse enjoyed cruising the country roads in his truck and especially loved family gatherings with their music sessions.

He is survived by his parents, grandmothers, Georgia Carle and Pauline Jones, one sister, Michelle (Sonny) Huffman, two brothers, Layton (Sara) Jones and Lynard (Jody) Jones, four nephews, four nieces and three great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clifford Carle and Bobby Jones.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Pastor Clayton Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the LaHarpe Cemetery. The family will meet with friends, Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Immediately following the burial a celebration of life will be held at the Annex "Sanctuary" in LaHarpe.
