Jerry Lee Carlson, 85, of Dallas City, Illinois, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at his home.

Jerry was born October 6, 1939 in Dallas City, the son of Lee and Treo (Admire) Carlson. On December 21, 1962 he married Edna Walker in Carthage, Illinois. She survives.

Jerry attended school in Dallas City before enlisting in U.S. Marine Corps. Following his discharge, he worked construction in the Dallas City area. He also built and refinished cabinets and furniture with his brother, Bob. He enjoyed watching Westerns.

Besides his wife, Edna, survivors include two children: Nikki (Richie) Eaves of Nauvoo and Jerry Carlson Jr. of Dallas City and three grandchildren: Reagan Eaves, Kennedy Eaves and Sven Carlson.

He was preceded in death by one son: Jason Carlson, one brother: Bob Graham and one sister: Bonnie Webb.

Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Dallas City is assisting the family.

Private family burial will be held at Dallas City Cemetery.
