Barbara Jean "Jeannie" Timmerman, age 74, of Carman, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at the home of her son in Burlington, Iowa.  She was born September 14, 1948, the daughter of Herb and Edith Lowman Black.  On July 6, 1979, She married Frederick "Fritz" Timmerman in Burlington.  He preceded her in death on March 12, 2020.

Jeannie retired from J.I. Case Company after being employed for many years.  She was an active member of the Grace Bible Church.  She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son: Corey (Jessica) Timmerman of Burlington, IA, three stepdaughters: Gale (Jim) Jacks, Nancy Walgren, and Mary Timmerman, all of Oakville, IA, twelve grandchildren: Kenzey Logan, Jackson Timmerman, Ryann Logan, Bryce Logan, Roger Timmerman, Remick Timmerman, Shawn (Annie) Timmerman, Lacey Newsom, Abbey Walgren, Stuart Timmerman, Rick Jacks, and Ryan Jacks, ten great grandchildren: Hayden Timmerman, Sydney Timmerman, Morgan Timmerman, A.J. Newsom, Jaxon Newsom, Grace Newsom, Tailin Newsom, Kenzie Davis, Kendra Jacks, and Eli Timmerman, and one brother: John Black of Prairie Grove Arkansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Roger Farquhar, one sister: Helen Hester, and five brothers: Charlie, Herbie, Richard, Ronald, and Loren Black.
